2020 Mustang PP2 production numbers?

They did for @Bluezeke but for some reason mine came back different. I've inquired via email and phone message and have gotten no reply as of yet. Still hoping to get an explanation. Will keep everyone updated.

total Production of PP2 1357 cars. @saleen367 wasn't provided 2018s in his report. Has anyone gotten a confirmation for the total 2020s yet?

It's bound to come up as more and more PP2 owners order reports and post them on the net.

Unfortunately, I cannot get anyone to respond to either my email or phone messages at Marti, but they were quick to fill my order and charge my card.

I'd guess there's a chance if the report is run more than once, the stat we are looking for will come up. There's probably an algorithm in their software that mixes the stats so all the reports don't appear the same. Just a guess.

I know of 2 2020’s with reports ordered. Mine is one of them. I emailed them yesterday and today got that response btw

That's a shame as I wanted to contact them prior to ordering to see if they could A) report on Euro's, B) report on RHD's and C) prioritise statistics for UK only packages.

I'm interested as I ordered a colour combination (lime / black) that according to the uk catalogue and the dealer, wasn't available over here unless you bought the '55 edition' package, and you couldn't get the 55 edition package with Recaro's.

It's only when I forced my dealer to try both routes to get the options I wanted on order, that we found that one combination worked, and even then we were skeptical until the window sticker was printed.

Besides, what other typically boring uk type person would order such a dick head combination ...

I do know I'm 1 of 1013 UK stangs, or 1 of 227 GT manuals for my year, but I would love to add a bit more resolution to the numbers :

I would even be keen just to find out the total number of limes produced by flatrock - and I guess even a american report would reveal that

I got a response back from Marti regarding the requesting of PP2 stats ...

"The stat pulled for the reports is random and not one that can be specifically chosen. You could order another report for a similar Mustang as yours and the stat could be something totally different."

Its nice to know we have production numbers, but would be nice to see it on paper, for me anyway.

Regardless, 2286 is not a lot of cars. That's very low production from what I can tell. Less than all the Shelby variants and Bullitts, Mach. I understand that the PP2 is still just a GT with an "option", so there will be naysayers. But that one option kind of makes the car stand out above all the other S550 Mustang GTs. History will be the judge.

Pp2 page on fb . Pp2 since not a numbered car will always be a niche collectible long term . Either way still fun cars and nice to get something uncommon

If you look back on history, unique option packages sometimes will bring more money from collectors because of their limited numbers. For instance, a 1969 hardtop is not highly sought after unless it has a 428CJ. While quite a few Mach 1's were ordered with the 428, a standard Sportsroof or hardtop with a 428 might be more collectible for the right person because of the small numbers ordered.

Hard to say how history will treat the PP2 30-40 years from now, but the numbers don't lie and I'd guess a few prime examples will be sitting in collector warehouses.

I'm extremely happy to report that after another email exchange with Scot Marti, they ran another report for me to see what the computer would generate. And ... it didn't disappoint.

Kudos to Kevin and Scot Marti at Marti Auto Works for being truly customer oriented.

Interesting. So you were given 2 stats on your car over the 2 reports. 256 PP2 cars, and the 4390 PP1's that have magnaride...which is a lot. They paid a premium to either get that Auto Trans or they just did not want those SC2s. 1 of 7 is nice. Kona blue is rare amongst the GT350s too. Have we finally figured out what Marti means when they say Trim codes? Does the Trim represent the PP2 or the 301A Recaro portion?

We have it paint and trim is your color and interior combo only. So I’m the case above the 7 it is unknown how many were actually pp2’s. Someone pulled one and paint and trim was like 696 but only 256 pp2 that year
