Hello everybody, writing this from Canada, simple question. I’ve noticed the DRL LED strips on my 2020 Mustang GT come on with the low beams and parking lights – so it’s the same configuration with the regular night lights just with lower intensity. So after I start the engine, all exterior lights come on at lower intensity, regardless of the switch position (OFF, parking lights and A) - with same lights at full intensity at ON switch position. When I activate the parking brake, they turn off as supposed too – minus when they are on the ON switch position. So all works as supposed to for the DRL system – I’m just puzzled by the fact that I have the low beams, tail lights, front amber ones and lateral parking lights on with the DRL system. I’ve never encountered that with another car but I understand that may be an intentional set-up made by Ford (I heard the 2020 and newer F-150 have the same set-up with all lights on at a lower intensity as DRL – I understand there is a DRL module set-up as DRL+parking lights). Wondering if you guys have the same on your Ponys or should I visit a dealer to make sure the DRL works as supposed to. I’m the original owner and didn’t do any modifications to my Stang. Thank you.
