Agreed, I often see insurance cost comparisons without the amount of coverage, location, miles driven, etc, listed. I pay $419.75/6 months for the 2015 EB, 6,000 miles driven/year (I mostly work out of home nowadays, so probably even less), max coverage available for AZ ($1 mil/$1 mil bodily injury, $500,000 property damage, also max for uninsured motorists coverage). I chose the max not because EBs cost that much but there are expensive cars are common in the area. I imagine minimal coverage for a Mustang GT will be cheaper but that won't be an apples to apples comparison.
Hey that's a good price. Who do you use?

Saw this thing in person at the NY auto show yesterday and it definitely looks sharp! I loved the wheels.

Exactly. It's like me saying GTs routinely run 9 with a few mods. Im going to say the car we are talking about will be a low to mid 13 second car. Ny bet is mid. And should outhandle a base GT.

I agree that each platform has its unique place in the product offering. The reason for mentioning the performance of a modded EcoBoost is the fact that it costs next to nothing to do so. The EcoBoost mustang is a very compelling value proposition. However yes, it will never go 9's.

Isn't the above an old video? Isn't that car running low 9's now? And the new HO EBM will run under 8 mins. at the 'Ring.

Haha.

*it's not going 9's without extraordinary cost (money or reliability) or modification.
That UPR EB has been going for years, did it finally blow up? It has the 2014 engine code 678 same as mine and was actually quite reliable. It goes to show the importance of selecting a tuner or engine builder.

I have no idea how much it cost but I don't think it is an extraordinary amount, maybe 10k-15k?

Since we are making predictions, My Nurburgring prediction for the HPP/PP, A10 is 8 minutes flat.
Honestly, I'd say 8 flat is a decent estimate, but maybe a tad bit gratuitous. The 2015 GTPP ran about 8:11 there with an amateur driver IIRC. Considering that this car is down on power (very important at that track) and braking, yet will likely have more balanced handling (mainly due to the square tire setup), better suspension, and stickier tires, I could see it coming close to, if not slightly beating the outgoing GTPP's time

Here are the official 2015 GT/PP and 2016 Focus RS times for reference. My 8 second flat prediction is for the HPP/HP A10, not a manual.

Are there any upcoming car shows that will feature the 2.3 liter H-PO Mustang ?
I'd imagine it'll start making the rounds at all the big car shows around the country at this point
