Thanks! It's an amazing color for the PP2. The rims and spoiler go well with Magnetic. The color itself is also very nice in person. Lots of metallic flakes, hard to capture in pictures tbh. Here's a poor attempt at doing so using my cellphone. It almost looks like too many flakes here, but in person that is not the case at all

Yes, most of the metallic cars only show the flakes in brighter light and blend in mostly in photos. Very similar to Kona and Ruby

Not sure if this is random luck or common but I got my VIN in 9 days.

Yeah I got mine really fast too. I think the issue people are having is they're going to dealers that don't have allocations and the dealer can't put in the order for months so the Vins are only being generated 7 - 14 days after their orders are finally put in. A lot of dealers as assholes and won't tell the customer of the situation hoping they'll hang in there so they can make some money.

That is about right when the dealer has allocation at the time of your order.

I finally got my VIN, after 2 months and a day, EDD is 7/18, The last 8 of the VIN is K5191953. anybody have one that's close to mine. I don't have a production day yet

Ordered 2-9, delivery date 5-22.
3 week delay is killing me

And I'm pretty sure i pressed premium convertible on poll by mistake.

Build now 4-22, delivery now 5=13

EDD was 7 days ago. "in transit" days have increased to 8, Dealer has no explanation, Ford Chat "Matt" has no more information to pass on.

That sucks bro. Hopefully everything will come together and you'll have your new toy sooner rather than later. Hang in there and you'll be in heaven when you're finally behind the wheel!

Hey Thanks Armyed.

Just got back from my dealer's lot. Took my STX in to get their lifetime free carwash service. I knew something was up. The last couple of months when I would go in all the sales floor personnel would kinda avoid eye contact and act real busy. I suppose not wanting to offer the same I don't knows. But not today. The manager comes over to me and says " I got some news. Your car is being loaded onto Cassens Transport ( a locally owned national car hauler) in Dearborn Michigan today. Should be here very soon."
The sales people all had happy smiles on the faces as well as I. What a nice spring day here in po-dunk Glen Carbon Il.

My dealer/manager really did say "Dearborn". But I think he should have said Flatrock.

Ford Tracking site has updated to read EDD 4/27 and reduced the "in transit" time to 5 days. Maybe going to get here this week.
