2019 Mustang GT A/T OVERHEATS.

How could it have been known for many years,this was a 2019 Mustang GT. The last time I looked this is still 2019 !!!

Same transmission as an 18, so maybe not years but a good amount of time. That being said I don't think others have this issue, typically we read about the diff overheating. You might have a problem with your trans

The base Mustang, Performance Pack 1 and Performance Pack 2 are not Track-Ready cars. If you want to track your car then install cooling systems or get a GT350/GT500.

With how people are cooking A10 clutches at lower power numbers than the 6spd auto its probably not really great for Drag use either.

You should check Blue Horse's posting history - he doesn't own a S550, he has an S197 and takes every opportunity to trash talk S550s.

It's a stock car. Add a trans cooler. Mishimoto makes one for the 6R80 it will probably work for the 10R80 too.

The GT doesn't come with a trans cooler standard - just ones with the Performance package got one from factory? Can that PP one be added, or is there a popular aftermarket people like?

If I remember right, I don't think any of the GTs come with a trans cooler, just the newer GT350s and the GT500.

My car has a trans cooler on bottom of trans. Pp1. Takes forever (30 plus minutes) to get up to 150 degrees in cooler air.
