2019 Ford mustang gt 5.0 active exhaust

Hope everyone is doing well. I bought a used 2019 ford mustang gt 5.0 with 401a package with active exhaust. I'm looking on my digital cluster and I don't have the option for exhaust mode. Am I missing something? Thought I have the mode toggle switch. But when I hit the pony button on steering wheel it doesn't give me the exhaust mode option

Just tried my 2019.just hit pony and exhaust pops up.click on it
So at least on my car you don't go thru settings. After exhaust pops up then you select how loud..it came seperat option from 401a.it was 895 option in 2019.so maybe you don't have it.when you bought the car did they give you a window sticker showing active exhaust
Out of curiosity you can set it 2 other ways I nclud I ng settings here's link .using pony button is quickest for me

As shown I n the video put a light on exhaust and see if you have valves

This is only true if you were last in exhaust settings. It goes to the last thing you were looking at.

Not all 401a or 401a premium cars came with active exhaust, mine didn't. If you have nothing on the dash, your car doesn't have it.

You don't have it - it falls between MyMode and Track Apps. I use it every day I drive my car.

But for kicks and gigs, go take a picture of the inside of your inner exhaust tip, camera pointed perpendicular to the flow of exhaust. That'll likely show that you don't have any valves.

Yeah one of the exhaust has like a butterfly looking thing in it. It's quad exhaust with the flap being on the 2nd pipe towards the center. Both pipes.

Hmm, interesting. Assuming they're stock, this is a weird situation.

My guess is that someone tried to install active exhaust cat back thinking they could activate thru Forscan then found out that the PCM has it on lockdown without using tuning software. Check to see if the actuators and cables are in place as well. This thread is a long read but it is what I used to install the feature on my 2019.
