Ordering a new clutch trying to figure out if it’s a 23 or 26 spline count and what’s the best bang for your buck clutch kit

23 spline stock. 26 spline upgrade. You probably, in all likelihood, have 23. 26 splines are pretty rare and only available aftermarket with a rebuild and as upgrade. I just sold a refreshed mt82 but bought the 26 spline upgrade off of amp and installed in. So you'll probably have and want to a 23 spline clutch when ordering

I can confirm that the input shaft in 2019 is a 23 spline. I looked for options to upgrade to a 26 spline 2 years ago during the rebuild phase and found them for the MT82, but not the D4.
If strengthening the input shaft is something you’re considering, the only thing that I know of (short of going through Calimer) is to have your hard parts Cryo’d. It’s about a $600+ process, but you can send in all hard parts at once and have them all strengthened. That’s what I did.
