Wondering if anyone has checked out the specs and quality of the 2018 Shaker Pro speakers yet. Has anything changed? I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised how it sounds in my 18 GT, considering the horrible reviews on these forums. I had a decent setup in my 06 GT (jVC head unit, Kicker speakers and door subs- no subwoofer), and I'd say it's comparable -more bass with subwoofer of course, but highs not quite as crisp. I listen to mostly rock, and it does a pretty good job with it. Just wish it didn't top out at 30 volume though.

I am new to Mustangs so I do not have an educated opinion. I have read on this forum, however, that the speakers are not made of cardboard anymore?? My GT has the Shaker Pro and I was disappointed in the sound when I got the car a month ago, however, over time the system has started to sound better. Maybe the speakers and sub need to be broken in? Perhaps. Or maybe I just think they sound better

I don't believe anything has changed with the 2018's speakers, no.
HOWEVER, the interior pics of the 2019 Bullitt show a different speaker grill for the center, and it's been known for awhile now that Ford has/is ending their relationship with Sony in favor of bang and olufsen - so, the 2019+ models may all have the new B&O speakers in them... or, it may just be the Bullitt with the B&O speakers for 2019... or, maybe Ford just changed the center grill for the hell of it. We'll find out when the order guides for 2019 come out in a few weeks.
