Has anyone had this happen? The usual noise was coming from the speakers and it was very very loud. Tonight I did the usual backing up into my garage and the beeping noise is coming under the steering wheel and it is very very quiet. What made it change? How does one switch?

I don't think you can change it, just turn it on and off. Maybe try going into your settings and turn it off and then on or something? Hopefully it's not a weird short or something.

It basically went from the speakers to using the speaker for the door chime under the steering wheel. So weird!

This happens on my 16, usuallt when I turn the car on with door is open, it will go away the next time you power cycle, wouldnt worry about it. Its been like that for me for a few years but very sporadic

I wish we could cut out the noise from stereo and only to a different section. Annoys me when the sensors start going off and it kills all audio in my 2017. My other car just dims that audio so if i'm talking to the wife via bluetooth or listening to music then i can still hear them

Yeah it seems to be impacted by the door being opened previously or something. It takes over the door chime vs the stereo. That leads me to believe there is a way to change it but oh well.

Isn’t it usually necessary to open the driver door every time to get into the car .... unless you enter and exit the car via Duke Boys entry/exit techniques......

Haha. That came out wrong. I meant if the car was still running and the door is opened. At work sometimes I back-up next to a pole that has big base. The camera cant see it so I have to open the door and look that way my bumper does not get demolished.

Happens occasionally on my UK spec Mondeo (Fusion) but after a restart it goes back to normal. Must be Sync related I would think
