Bumping this to the top. Has anyone figured out if you can just purchase the '18 bumper/valence for a '17? Or do you also have to purchase additional mounting clips.
If you have a 2015-2017 and want the 2018-2019 rear lower valance for quad tips, you have to purchase the entire 2018-19 factory rear bumper cover and the lower valance. The 2018-19 rear lower valance will not plug-n-play onto a 2015-2017 due to contour differences as well as mounting locations.

The 2015-17 rear bumper covers, the bottom of the actual bumper cover is more of a straight edge where the lower valence or diffuser mates to the bumper cover.

On the 2018-19’s, the rear bumper cover in the same area dips down in the middle (and rear valence or diffuser follows that dip).

So with that said:
The 2015-17 lower rear valence will not fit on a 2018-19 rear bumper cover.
The 2018-19 lower rear valence will not fit on a 2015-17 rear bumper cover.

2 other things to note about the 2018-19 rear bumper covers:
1) They all come with the holes or provisions for the rear back up sensors.
2) The 2018-2019 rear bumper cover does not have the lower color coordinated center section like the 2015-2017’s...thus again the reason why swapping the lower valance is an issue...

Unless someone has come up with a way of forcibly making it work, it hasn’t been posted on this site yet.

Thanks! That sums up what I was thinking.

And yeah, I'm going to do the full bumper conversion, which is why I'm wondering if any mounting tabs are different and if I will need to purchase any additional mounting hardware.

I was recently rear ended by a distracted driver at a red light. Thankfully it wasn't bad at all, and it looks like I'll just need a new rear bumper. I'm wondering if I can get an 18 gtpp bumper put on instead, with space for quad tips. Does anyone know 1) if it's a direct bolt on to the 15 GT, and 2) if there would be any issues with parking sensors?
So by any chance did you confirm if the 18 rear fits 2017 properly.

Well thank you for the reply though, I actually digged a little deeper and it turns out it's a pain to do but it's possible.

And what mounting brackets are required to replace or add for the bumper?
