Also - SC2s - great, but not so great for street driving. You essentially need second set of tires / wheels immediately unless somebody buys it to be track only.

How is it that the car is not designed for 305s up front ?

I've never had SC2s, but I can see they're very track oriented. But even here in VA, I could roll those year-round.

I am from Michigan, so I understand your view on tires for a DD car.

You can get those front wheel and tires to fit on a 15'-17', the 18' has wider fenders.

But I have to say all this "OMG you won't be able to drive on these tires" is a bit dumb. I drove my track car to work and did track days in the rain on R888s!

still no reason to sell my car over it though and I'd still get a 350 over it. not that far off from price really by time I would do a 18 pp2 with options I wanted that would match my current car.

Keep the 10 speeds for the basic models.

I know 99% of your posts extol the virtues of the "stick" shift, but even Chevy give the choice of the 10-speed auto on the ZL1, if not the 1LE. Ford have at least finally given us the option (in the US at least) of the auto on the PP1.......but.......

I would doubt that they poke stock. But 305 on the front of a 2015-17 is not easy. I wonder if the 2018's have wider front fenders like the GT350.

Remember that the PP2 front wheel/tire is 0.8" smaller in overall diameter than the PP2 (305/30/19 vs 255/4019). So the smaller diameter helps them fit, even if they are wider.

Now the fact that they are not a squared set up because of 0.5" wider wheels in the back is aggravating. Rotation front to back is critical to extend the life of Cup 2 tires on street cars that typically cant get enough negative camber.

Bugs me a little bit that the lower grille, spoiler, and chin spoiler are all the same matte black texture....and then the upper grille is gloss black...need to see in person

Seems like could have slapped a Mach 1 badge on it and sold it for 10-15k more than the PP1.... Actually really surprised they didn't

I couldn't wait, so...

Please don't hate, I love all cars and am not a brand guy. I still love my 2002 Mustang GT, but just added this to the stable. Was hoping the PP2 would be closer to this though. Maybe it will be, but who knows at this point?

2018 1SS, 1LE with performance data recorder (and video). $41k out the door. Couldn't pass it up.

I really like your car. It is one of the nicer Camaros I have seen. I hope you beat her/him up properly.
