Nope, I guess their system doesn’t allow it to show negative days so once the EDD is elapsed it just hides it from COTUS. The car is still in awaiting shipment.
Just be glad delivery is eminent? I've still got two months or more until my *estimated* delivery date

I feel your pain. Between order and delivery, I'll be over four months.
I think I'll be at that as well. As far as I know, my car won't be here until at least March. I checked the most recent dealer stock orders on Ford.com for my local dealer, and some of them took an entire month to get here once they were moved to In Transit (which is fucking absurd, this isn't 1908). Really starting to lose confidence in Ford. My car will have been sitting at Flat Rock for an entire month come Sunday.

Wow, that's crazy. I was checking out all the dealer stock on Cotus since I'm tracking a dealer order Mustang that's currently in production. I'll probably get that one since that will arrive way before my order. From all the VIN's I looked up, seems the average in transit time was 2 weeks to California.

I ordered mine August 7, 2017.
The order was processed December 14.
Production began January 3, 2018.
Production was completed January 9.
Shipped February 6.
Delivered February 7.

Seven months exactly between Order and Delivery, including Christmas and New Years shutdown.

My dealer said nothing about being able to track orders.

I had hoped the car wouldn't arrive before Winter was done here on the East Coast... or until I was able to save enuff scratch in the bank. ;)

COTUS seems like it could be a nerve-wracking system.

Got assigned a new EDD of 2/21, but the car's still in "awaiting shipment" so I'm going to call bullshit on that one. What a joke.

For those of you who are searching beyond the 100 mile limit on ford.com, how do you do it? I would love to search a bigger area, but punching in zip codes from other large cities seems to be a PITA.

Appreciate the input.

I hate to say it but I wonder if there's an issue with your car. Either a recall holding it up, a part that's not available or something that needs to be corrected. Seems like COTUS is fairly accurate for most. For yours to keep pushing back is odd.

When I call Ford Cust Service 2 weeks ago, they said they saw that it was "released," doesn't that usually indicate the "okay" for QC? I haven't reached out to my dealer for a visibility report yet but might do that if nothing happens by tomorrow.

I understand EDDs are all based on calculations of average time for previous cars, but to assign an EDD once it's missed a previous EDD and to not have any momentum in the status is a little ridiculous. Ford's customer service is also useless for this type of stuff.

Yeah if it's released then that should mean it passed all tests and is good to go. I just don't understand how cars like yours fall through the cracks for no rhyme or reason.

It was probably buried in some recent snow storm and they completely forgot about it.

Trust me, I think it's flat out bad that no one can explain to my why it's taking this long. There could be a good reason for it, but that reason isn't communicated at all, it seems, to anyone outside of the joe bag of donuts who is in charge of moving inventory from the plant to the train. Can't see how Ford will become this fancy high-tech future mobility company when they can't even get their shit in order to load new cars onto a train and get them to their customers.

But there's gotta be a more precise system. It can't just be that a truck driver quickly glances around a parking lot, grabs the first 6 cars he sees and drives off, while your car sits hidden behind a Continental or something.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it was something like that. They are definitely not running any award-winning logistics programs.
