I'm wondering what changed. I was under the impression when a window sticker got issued/printed that it was just that, done. I didn't know they could be changed or updated.

So I was curious.

Attached mine to avoid uninteresting crapposts.

Well, I know for sure the window sticker updates at least once for all Mustangs, the first time it is released with a date about a week before the BLEND date, then on the BLEND date it gets updated. I didn't compare other parts of the window sticker, but I know for sure the dates at the bottom is changed. Other changes might be to the BLEND date if there was some delay in the production, and the EPA ratings might change since early production cars might have it be empty.

The date at the very bottom changed from 12/13/17 to 12/20/17. There could be graphical differences but that's the only text difference.

I'm guessing that date at the bottom is the date that sticker was generated. They probably generate an initial sticker and then update it when the car is complete. If all the information has remained unchanged then only the date at the bottom changes.

So my salesman called and told me they have an updated delivery on my Mustang..... it Was January 4th..... but he says December 26th. I find that hard to believe. Cotus still shows January 4th, but I never believe Cotus lol.

You are at the point now where you call the dealer everyday. Check on the railcar. If at the ramp, have them call the ramp. And, don't forget to get that money out of savings. The dealer will want a check.......

You mean we actually have to pay for this car? What a huge bummer! I thought it was free!!

How are the panel gaps? I heard they fixed them.

i am not super picky, but to me the gaps looks fine. im also not looking at each and everyplace to make sure its not off by 1mm or something. Maybe it is someplace, but to me, all looks fine.

I'm not picky either as long as they don't look horrendous then I'm fine. But if they are way off I'll tell my dealer they need to fix it.

My panels looked good, as well. I had seen several 2017 and 2018 Mustangs side by side, inside, at a dealership in Cary NC. I noticed the gaps on the 17's and did not notice them on the 18's. I was ready to complain if my 18 had 17 type gaps. It did not, so I was pleased. Full disclosure, there was a paint chip in a very odd place next to the right rear taillight. It looked more like a paint bubble. The dealer sent me a text before I arrived to pick it up so that I'd not be surprised. They then took care in fixing it after I'd had a few days to actually enjoy the car. All is good today!!!
