I stopped by my dealer this morning to check on the order. He stated it's still in line to be produced but on hold as Ford is producing models for Quality control. I asked if I have time to make a change. So I switched from Ebony Leather trim in Showstopper Red to Ebony Leather trim in Midnight Blue. I think the Ebony and Midnight Blue interior will look much better than the Ebony and Showstopper Red.

Nice choice, I prefer the midnight blue as well. Also, I haven't heard from my dealership for some time, planning on calling them next week to see if there's any updates.

Is your order stock or retail? For right now their only taking stock orders. But hopefully by the end of the month they'll start taking retail orders. That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

I don't see how this is even possible. My purchasing/ordering manager verified that there will be no production in the plant for the beginning of October. He said all production start has been pushed back until November. My build date went from October 2nd to November 27th.

My ordering guy tried to tell me the same BS but he has 3-4 Mustang GT's of all specs being built this week and another dealer has a base GTPP no other options with a build date of October 12th.

Wonder why some stock orders are being pushed back while others are not.

What irritates me is they have an Oxford White GTPP 6 speed 301A that is being built this week but instead of magneride they optioned it with the voice activated nav, and security package. Almost an exact match to my build.

There is the exact car to mine being built right now as we speak but its from Baltimore. I'm so tempted to call them and ask about it. But I'll be patient and wait for my car. *taps fingers*

I am mostly irritated that the timing is probably going to put delivery around the holidays. That, and the fact that I am tired of daily driving my old truck 42 miles a day.

Yeah I read that, koons Ford has the best prices. If that were my case I'd be buying the one on the lot First

My parents say that I should wait for mine. But I'm really really tempted to call and inquire about it. If they say its for another customer then so be it. But if they say its not then I might ask when it's going to be hitting the lot then if it comes in first then I might drive up there and see it. And I might just buy it. But I do feel bad for my dealer though. :(

At least we have an official website from ford that we can check our order status and other stuff, when I pre-ordered my Miata ND there was nothing, I'm talking about things where some forum members had to go all the way and get "spy shots" from the harbor themselves, and track ships coming from Japan via some map tool.

My dealer said that he'll talk to Koons and see if they can get it shipped down here. I just don't want to go up there. And the salesman said I'd have to go up there and sign the paperwork. Sounds fishy to me.
