I have Rush on my iPod (old school) plugged into one of the USB ports.

And so far I just maxed out the 3 EQ settings :headbang: I figure I'll dial them back/customize them later... Loving the subwoofer in the trunk. The stereo upgrade isn't something that was on my original order (neither was the 12" digital display :D ) but I'm glad I have it and really loving it!

Good luck with yours!

Chris
Im 31, but I’m old school in my music. :p

Mine should arrive at the end of June, I ordered the Shaker just because I dont want to upgrade the standard sound system.

So I ordered mine as a manual with very limited manual driving experience, am I making a mistake?

I’ve always wanted a stick, and I assume I’ll get proficient in no time at all, I guess I’m just nervous about damaging the car due to poor execution of skills.

I basically learned on the 2011 GT I had. I think it would be easier to learn on a mustang than a car with much less torque.

A lot of people including myself have replaced the stock clutch pedal spring with the 35lb aftermarket option. I think it might help you a bit.

You'll be fine, the 2018 GT is very easy to drive. Just take it easy until you get to know the car.

Could you tell me more about this, or point me in the direction of some literature?

Just a reality check on ordering an ‘18... a local dealer suggested that I could still order an ‘18 to get the options I wanted and there would be better rebates / incentives available. I thought that orders for ‘18’s were done now except for dealer stock and ‘19’s were now being accepted.

I don’t mind ordering a ‘19, and I’d rather just go that route than start down the 18 road and find out I’m waiting on a 19 after all. What’s the real deal?

Absolutely no way to order a MY18 at this point. Even too late to spec change an existing order. All MY18's are balanced out with a final build of 6/14.

Thanks, that was what I thought when he popped off with that suggestion. I’ll ask him if he’s got something identical to what I was going to order on his list of incoming cars and also verify how they handle special orders. Pretty sure I’ll have to move on to another dealer after that discussion, though...

Thanks again,

Clair

My dealer is helping me with the 2019 b/c we ran into the same situation after ordering an 18 on Apr 27. We're meeting tomorrow to pull the trigger on the 2019 and be sure that we're all on the same page.

If you need end up moving onto another dealer, I'll highly recommend Austin Sterchi at Hunt Ford in Franklin KY. A very straight shooter, helped me alot and is on top of it. Dealer # is (270) 586-5281, PM me if you want his cell.
