Yeah at this point I have lost faith in dealing with Ford. Things happen, but the way they handled all of this in my situation has been absolutely abhorrent.

I would encourage not doing that any time soon, they held my car for over 4 weeks trying to source the parts from that TSB. I ended up with an entirely new transmission assembly because they never could get the parts.

I've been dealing with a "Regional Customer Service Manager" and they are horrible with communication & responses. I left him voicemails daily for 5 business days, answered me the following week with no new information. Allegedly nobody further to escalate or speak to, just playing the waiting...

The drivetrains in these cars are garbage. Mine has been in the shop for 3 weeks now because they can't get their hands on the parts. So to state the obvious: They can't get their hands on parts because so many of these are blowing up.

Update: Still in the shop as of 01/28, no end in sight as the parts are still on backorder.

I wish they would just allow more transparency, the unknown nature of the status is such a killer... Nobody seems to have the information on which trucking company is handling the transport from rail yard to dealer, or I could just ask them when their ETA is aside from some general COTUS estimate
