I second the cobra jet but if you do track days and want to keep the strut tower brace go ported GT350 mani Have you thought about cams?

  • Power stuff:
    • Nitrous (never see it recommended here nor have I done it on a Coyote, but I used to see it all the time on older LS1/LT1 powered F bodies back in the day)
    • MMR ported heads, stage 2 or 3
    • Comp cams camshafts
    • Cobra Jet Intake (better high rpm average hp makes the car faster, doesn't necessarily dyno more hp than a ported '18 intake)
    • Lightweight driveshaft (doesn't add hp, but reduces parasitic losses and is rotational energy, so you get more effect than just the weight removed)
    • Lightweight MMR water pump pulley (negligible gains, but if you're going for max n/a gains, it's something)
  • If an M6: change rear end gears to numerically higher value (i.e., "lower" gearing)
  • Weight savings:
    • Light wheels/tires (don't go too wide/big, no need for super wide tires unless you're going to the track). Big tires are generally heavier and create more rolling resistance. I stuck with the factory Michelin PS4S PP1 tires (255/40 and 275/40) on 19x10 SVE R350 wheels. The wheels saved 9 lbs/wheel over the factory PP1 wheels (36 lbs total, however, since they rotate the effect on acceleration is more like 1.8-2x the actual weight removed).
    • Lightweight Baer Eradispeed brake rotors.
    • Free weight savings stuff: Remove engine cover (4.5 lbs) and sound tube (1.5 lbs), don't fill up the fuel tank more than 1/2 way unless you need it for a trip (full fuel tank = 100 lbs), keep windshield washer fluid reservoir 1/2 full or less (full = ~9lbs), remove strut tower brace (~8lbs), or upgrade to the GT350R brace which is almost 3 lbs lighter than the stamped steel one on the PP1 (not free, I know), remove back seat, remove any unnecessary weight (i.e, if you're overweight, lose weight). A good approximation is removing 8 lbs is equivalent to adding about 1 hp, +/- (depending on lbs/hp ratio of the car)
I started a thread "obscure bolt ons" a few months ago that has a few other ideas: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/less-common-or-obscure-bolt-ons.142025/

Cobra jet intake, comp stage 3 cams... headers if you don't already have. 4.09 gear if stick transmission.

A blower or some turbos are going to be the more simple route to go from FBO to be honest. After that you start opening the engine up which a lot of people do not like doing. I second a Whipple Gen 5 or even a turbo setup to use that ported manifold you have. Hit me up anytime and I can throw some examples around for you. Lethalperformance.com
