Bought my roush S/C PP GT mustang about three months ago. So far so good. I can't tell the difference in driveability from my last '15 PP GT car which I had for 2.5 years except that this one accelerates faster. Note that when you accelerate faster, you expect the rear wheels to slip more often. That implies you do not do WOT on turns as you don't want your car to fishtail with the extra wheel spin and lower grip. This imposes some max throttle limit which makes driving a bit more challenging, especially in wet conditions. In wet conditions, even slight turns can cause fishtailing without the use of full throttle, so better not accelerate at all in wet conditions on any turns. The only extra noise is the louder exhaust which everybody hears for blocks behind me (WOT) but is not loud if you keep the RPM under 3000 (when cops are around). If you get the '17 with PP, you get the better brakes and stiffer suspension. I saw a '17 supercharged 'auto' for around $45K recently. Didn't see too many '17 roush PP manuals left, but saw a few in the range of $52 - $65k. If you get the '18, I think you can still get the PP (better brakes/suspension) with an auto. I really needed the better brakes. I replaced my factory wheels/tires in the first month I owned my new car to get better traction. Considering swapping the radio and buying a new clutch next.

Lebonon ford will install a helion twin turbo kit as well. So my vote is a 17 hellion twin turbo auto kit from lebonon ford, and dont look back because you'll see all those roush boys behind you!

I have a 2016 Roush Phase 2 with some supporting must have mods. It drives stock until you want to unleash the animal. I have considered trading and getting a truck, but enjoy the car so much. I just haven't pulled the change. plus, the dealer will not give you what it's worth. i'm getting up in age and have had really fast cars and trucks for that matter. Believe me, these setups will scare the hell out of you. I have multiple hellcats, slowmarrows and corvettes with hurt feelings around here. I also had a heavily modded GTO track me down for this very reason and went home butt hurt as well.

BTW, due to extra tire spin when accelerating, supercharged drive-ability is a bit more challenging than the stock. You can't start in 1st gear at 2K RPM and gun it. Tires just spin and you get horrible acceleration. If you try to modulate your spin with your gas pedal, you will find many times a 'jumpy' start as the tires spin, then grip, then spin some more as you try to apply just enough gas to not slip. Without really sticky drag radial tires, you have to learn how to shift differently. The two ways that work for me is to start in first with about 1/2 throttle and long before the redline 'quickly' jump to second and go full throttle. This leads to some jumpiness as the wheels sometimes slip as you can't really be sure what 1/2 throttle is all the time. The jump to 2nd with any higher RPM also sometimes causes slippage through all of 2nd. An even more consistent way to start off is to start in 2nd gear and the tires don't slip up to about 4K RPM. Then, either let off the gas slightly or go to 3rd long before you redline. I suppose starting in first up to about 2K RPM might be possible if you skip 2nd and go right into 3rd also. I haven't had much luck starting in 1st since the slippage is too great without just the right amount of throttle.

Well I bought a BASE GT 6 speed with the only add on being a 3.55 gear. Went this route so I can mod it as I see fit.
