She doesn't know. I've tried that route in the past. All she can do for you is the same thing that calling Ford Performance can do (which is verify the order is in the system).

Call 800 367 3788 and supply your order number and dealer code. They will verify that the order is in the system and that it is in unscheduled material hold (UMH).

The only person who can verify your order is legitimate is the ford regional rep.

Again, best of luck. If it was me doing it all over again, I would insist on confirmation through the GM by the rep.

Well, here we are in April. My MY17R, ordered 4/17/16, was completed on March 1. Sat in parking lot until March 30 when it went offsite for stripes. Came back next day, Mar 31. Car still sitting waiting for train car allocation. Do not understand the issue. The COTUSB site reverted back from (awaiting shipment) to "in order processing". WTF???

Ordered on 5/3/16
Order processing completed on: 3/29/17
In production: 4/6/17
Estimated delivery: 4/25/17

Almost 1yr wait from order to delivery. My dealership only got 1 R for 16 and only 1 R for 2017.

I assume that R may take a longer time to get (from the date order was placed by the dealer to the actual date of delivery) considering that there are much fewer R produced than non R's and more demand for the R.

Here is a question for those who received their R earlier than the normal 9-12 months wait, what is the priority code entered by the dealer on your order (mine was 10) and does this make any difference?

I am thinking that dealers with high volume sales will not only get more allocations for the R but also will get higher priority than those with lower volume sales.

Mine was priority code 10 also. I was told anything below that is a VIP or special order. Don't know if that's true or not.
