Its hard to say if its not a great number. I mean a 10 means its the best the dealer can do but it only effects orders from that dealer. So if the dealer doesn't order any other Mustangs with a lower number than yours there would be no difference between a 19 and a 10. A 10 from another dealer won't jump ahead of your dealer's orders because its a lower number. The sales manger who placed my order told me he wouldn't get a VIN until Thursday. I was just looking at the order confirmation and I got Priority 19. From what I read in past threads that is not a great number correct?
19 just means your dealer could sneak other Mustang orders in front of yours if they wanted, while a 10 means all future orders would go behind yours for sure.
So if your dealer just sends all orders in as 19s you don't have anything to worry about until and unless someone gets them to use a lower number for their order.
If you didn't negotiate an order priority up front, you can't blame them for giving themselves options. Maybe they can change it to a lower number if you push for it.
