The sales manger who placed my order told me he wouldn't get a VIN until Thursday. I was just looking at the order confirmation and I got Priority 19. From what I read in past threads that is not a great number correct?
Its hard to say if its not a great number. I mean a 10 means its the best the dealer can do but it only effects orders from that dealer. So if the dealer doesn't order any other Mustangs with a lower number than yours there would be no difference between a 19 and a 10. A 10 from another dealer won't jump ahead of your dealer's orders because its a lower number.

19 just means your dealer could sneak other Mustang orders in front of yours if they wanted, while a 10 means all future orders would go behind yours for sure.

So if your dealer just sends all orders in as 19s you don't have anything to worry about until and unless someone gets them to use a lower number for their order.

If you didn't negotiate an order priority up front, you can't blame them for giving themselves options. Maybe they can change it to a lower number if you push for it.

The funny thing is I never thought about order number and trying to get a better number until you mentioned it. Oh well, it is still ordered and I am happy about it.

Just got my VIN. Well 2 VINs my sales guy sent me one VIN and Deysha sent me another. Neither get me anything on COTUS or window sticker sites, but the one from my dealer has P8F in the 5-7 chars (GT convertible) while the one from Deysha has P8T there (ecoboost fastback), which is what I ordered. At least if I'm decoding the VINs correctly. Either way should be getting my car in by mid July i'd think.

I was told to check back Friday with Deysha and supposedly the dealer will call me tomorrow. We'll see what happens.

Just ordered the Ecoboost Premium Convertible, Grabber Blue and the pony package. Dealer says delivery in 6-8 weeks... we'll see.

Mine is taking about 7 weeks to be built and then another 2 or 3 weeks to be delivered, so I'd say that 6 weeks is unrealistic, but 8 weeks might be realistic.

so now we are debating on color before it gets built shortly, keep it in white platinum metallic, or change to ruby red with a black roof, both with redline interior......what to do?

You know what would be a great color to have for the GT's would be that avalanche grey that's on the GT350's

not true, ive done it in the past many times, then even changed back! Ugh! but we are only 2 weeks from build date so that could effect it now, my dealer said to come in today and he will see if it would take the change if we wanted to change it.

when i ordered my 15 gt, i went from triple yellow, to blue, back to yellow then to blue again, but then it was delayed due to plant hold and i bought a comp orange one instead. when i ordered my gt350, i went from comp orange to deep impact blue, i know the vin was already assigned in both cases, but i didnt wait until 2 weeks prior to build date!! yikes!!....and we still have decided for sure if we want the change or not!!

me personally, im not a fan of that. it reminds me of an old battleship color or something. my dealer has one in the showroom now and i iove my deep impact blue GT350 much more, and they told me they do to, not just because it was me.

I've seen one, and I like it a lot. I'm still waiting on the bank to figure their S*** out so I'm about 2 or 3 weeks away from ordering mine. Which is giving me way to much time to think about what color I want. I'm stuck on oxford white, or magnetic grey. The interior is going to be premium red line, and I'm getting the performance package.
