Lucky! My dealer told me he'd have something for me today, but said his Internet crashed and they're having trouble fixing it or something :/ curious, how long does it take to get built?

we ordered on 4/22, not sure the priority number on the dora says 21, i dont know if its changed yet now that i have a vin.

build date is June 17, so it will either start the day before or day of and be done that day or probably the next day. Then its just a matter of the doing a quality hold since its a new model possibly or how fast they decide to ship it. once they do, it takes about 15-21 days to get to me in phoenix from past experience with the last 4 we have ordered as well. usually window sticker will be available online a week before its built too.

You don't know if you have a low priority for sure. First, the priorities only effect the orders from that one dealer and for that one model of car. So you would need to know the priorities of all Mustang orders from that dealer. So a 10 would mean all later orders and lower number unscheduled previous orders would be built after yours. But the same MIGHT be true regardless of the number if they choose to never use a lower number for other orders.

also mine was ordered as dealer stock to get it here quicker instead of special order. If im not mistaken, i think the lowest they assign is a 20 for stock orders. Ive had a priority 1 on a couple of mine, i think my GT350 and my 15 GT both got that and they were special ordered for me.

Mine is a clone of my 2016, it is probably special order. The order form says 760 for type or something close. Wish I was getting a GT350 BTW

My 2017 Gt Premium msrp was $42220. I got mine for $39,400. 401a, 3.55, back up, auto. I hope the $750.00 discount shows up before delivery.

ours is stickering at $45,355. I know we can use xplan, but our sales mgr dont worry, it will most likely be lower than that, he said he is going to make it work and be at the payment we already told him we wanted, which is not much more than the 15 ecoboost we are trading in. we have good equity on that right now too.

I ended up cancelling my original order yesterday and made a new one with a different branch of the same dealership. The founder/owner has been a friend of the family for decades and I called him yesterday morning. Told him about the run around I got on the price at the other store. He had me talk to one of the guys at his first store. Original order was a GT premium, 400a, shadow black, GT Performance Package, manual trans, and ebony premier trim interior. Out the door was $41,355.39 using x plan. Yesterday I added on the reverse sensing system, otherwise the same, with an out the door price of $41,275.09. No x plan, deal made at invoice price plus a $250 rebate. That incentive is locked in, however if any other incentives are available at the time of delivery, I can pick which one I want. They also gave me a higher priority number. Original order was 19, this one is 10, and the guy said he would call the regional manager today to try to get it bumped up even higher. Since both stores are the same company, I asked him what he would do if the original sales people get ahold of him asking what the hell happened to the order they placed. He told me his main office is actually at the original store i went to and that if they come up whining to him he'll throw them back down the stairs they came up haha. He's one of the main guys apparently.
