2017 mustang intake install problem

Please help!
I have installed cai, done my own springs, Change my own oil but I cannot figure this out.

I bought a 2015 mustang injen intake and installed it but ran into problems when connecting the “tubes”. If you take a look i have everything connected except for one hose. I looked every where but everything seems to be connected.

If you take a look at the second picture you can see to stock intakes for 2017 mustang gt...mine only has one spot for the connection and my brothers has two.

Please let me know what to do

1 goes to the valve cover for the PCV breather which you have hooked up. the other is a hose that goes under the intake manifold on a 2015, am guessing was removed on 2017 models?

you could just cap it and be on your way

Yeh. 2017 models don't use that fitting. My 2017 kit came with a plug and the instructions for the mod as well. The 2015 - 2016 kits don't fit 2017 models. You should be able to remove that fitting and install a blanking plug with same thread. :cheers:

Unacceptable lack of quality with Injen products! My boxed 2017 GT INJEN intake arrived with Brocken hose fittings on the intake pipe. They made me freight the whole box to them (at my cost) and wouldn’t give a refund
