Airaid MXP Specs

I went ahead and took apart my Airaid setup and measured the tube opening the old fashioned way.


It measured 110mm where the tube connects to the silicone coupler:

The MVT would be inside the elbow where you took your first pic/measurement, not where the silicone coupler attaches to the air box. That piece is called the air filter adapter.

Also if you got 110mm where the elbow connects to the silicone coupler, you most likely got the air raid intake that requires a tune because it doesn't have the MVT.

Where you measured 110mm is without the MVT. If the MVT is in there you'll only measure 96mm at the widest part of the MVT and 89mm at the smallest part of the MVT by the MAF sensor.

My tube measured 112mm because my MVT was removed with a Dremel and I made the opening as big as I physically could without weakening the elbow.

Any pic of the inside of the elbow - MAF side?
