Hi, Forums

I just wanted to document this for the present and future S550 Mustang owners. I own a 2017 GT with Sync 1 and during my bluetooth phone calls and sync voice commands it started to sound really really tinny I'll embed a video so you can hear it. Turns out on the Stock ford sound system when Sync is using their commands and during phone calls the audio is piped through the front speakers only and that If you bluetooth audio and sync voice started to sound really really low and tinny it may be the result of the door speakers not working.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes?

the issue wasn’t the Bluetooth connectivity but rather it was working however due to my speakers not working it sounded very tinny and low. However steaming music or podcast worked fine. That is because sync uses only the front speakers to transmit phone calls and commands
