I just picked up my Mustang today and was hoping my first post wouldn't be about issues lol. This is a 2017 Mustang GT with the 4 inch screen and my phone is an LG Stylo 3.
When attempting to pair the phone everything goes normal between the radio and the phone. The phone shows up in the bluetooth list on the radio but when I go to hit the phone or media button it asks me to connect a bluetooth device, even after freshly pairing. When I go in to the menu and go to connect my phone it says it cannot connect to that device. What's more baffling is that while it is in media it will play audio from my phone even though it shows it as being disconnected while asking me to connect a device. My phone shows as being connected to Sync properly. So while I do have audio, I have absolutely no control of the phone other than directly from the phone.
I watched numerous Youtube videos and following Ford's troubleshooting advice from the my.ford webside. I have tried everything from a master reset, to holding down the power button and fast forwarder button for 4 seconds, hard cycling my phone, pairing/unpairing of the phone numerous times. Nothing has worked.
Any help would be appreciated.
