2017 Mustang Colors (Updated: Lightning Blue, Platinum White, Grabber Blue PICS)

I believe both GB and LB are going to be free colours

The Ivory White Pearl will be a $500 premium colour

In Europe Lightning will have a premium because it's a metallic and our entire continent accepts getting ripped off to the tune of 700 euro for metallic.

Grabber is a one layer solid, that will have no premium.

Pearl is a tri-coat so like Triple Yellow it will be 1200/1300 euro more.

I´ve managed to make a collage comparing both Lightning Blue (up) and Deep Impact Blue (down).

In those shots, Lighting Blue almost look close to an aqua blue color. :shrug:

I think it will do well since it's different. If competition orange sold, I think lightning blue will do alright.

You need to remember that it's a computer generated color and does not translate well to the real thing. Just compare the current colors to the Ford build site. I've seen some of the spy shots of Lightning Blue and it looks much better than the computer generated color, but I'm still not sold on it. I would need to see a real good live shot or see it in person.

very different in the flesh versus its color rendition in "price and build".

Something to consider about LB...

It's a metallic paint, which won't show up well in pictures. I'm sure that in bright sunlight, with a good detail, it will really pop.

It's closer to this...maybe a touch lighter. It's got that metallic sheen like this M3 does (LeMans Blue BTW)
