Purchased a 2017 CPO GT350 with 7800 miles last month and the past week it has been nothing but issues

Currently had an appointment for Monday because the AC Compressor stopped working on Thursday. Today I back it out of the garage and see oil under the rear end... since it’s has the ESP I should expect a rental car correct? Not too sure how long any of this is going to take but need a vehicle. It still has the 36k/3yr original warranty as well

Possible on the rental. IIRC, there was an A/C recall on early s550’s Maybe that recall was not performed prior to purchase?

as for the rear end, check the rear diffuser pan and see if there is dripping coming from the actual rear end or the cooler. If there’s drip page on the inside side of the diffuse could be diff cooler.

Good luck.

Are you sure its gear oil (has a unique smell)? It looks thin and might be the condensation coming out of the exhaust. I believe the Ford Extended warranty plans have a rental care provision. I have the bumper to bumper one and am 100% sure a rental car is covered.

As @Rubyred17 said, the stock mufflers have drain holes in the bottom and they'll will drip water mixed with a bit of soot (ie - wet and black liquid) if you start the car from cold and let it idle for a few minutes before you drive it. That's what the black spot in the picture looks like.

Thanks for the replies. It didn’t have a noticeable smell so hopefully you are correct. I’ll check it out again tmrw morning since I cleaned up what was there.

Exhaust condensation for sure...

Are you certain it’s the A/C compressor and not the common EVAP core issue? This thread has all the A/C EVAP failure symptoms (112 pages worth, along with DIY fixes and rants):

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/a-c-evaporator-factory-defect.62682/

That issue is across all S550’s from 2015 to the 2017’s. Haven’t heard much chatter about he 2018+ having the issue, but it’s not to say it can’t happen...
