Hello all.

I have put a down-payment on an 18 gt mustang and will be picking it up in a week or two.

I was wondering if the way the exhaust system is ran is identical between 18 and 17. I would assume it is, but am not sure.

Please let me know.

Thanks.

Looks like some vendors are already showing 2018 compatibility with previous years, so I'd say yes, but you may want quad tips now.

The exhaust is pretty much the same right until the mufflers, I believe even the non active ones are a bit larger and different than the 15-17. But the routing should be the same, so as long as one has the dual tip cutout on the bumper then the 18 mufflers should drop right in.

Ok, I understand. I appreciate the response.

I picked up my car and i have active exhaust on it. When it is in track mode. It sounds amazing and is fairly loud. I cant imagine buying an exhaust that can possibly sound better.
