Howdy folks…
2017 ecoboost premium 95,000 miles with the shaker system
really need some advice here - so the driver side mid range speaker started getting fuzzy. Specifically, the startup chimes are/were really fuzzy and some songs are just terrible to listen to.
Went to an audio shop, had them replace both midranges, because I thought that was the issue. Unfortunately the driver side speaker is still fuzzy and the shop is saying it’s a deeper issue (an issue with the head unit and they need to bypass the stock amp).
Im pretty upset with the shop because their initial diagnosis was wrong and now their second diagnosis is $600. So id like some advice before proceeding.
So my questions are this:
Has anyone had a similar issue?
Is there something I can do to isolate the issue? Like a wire causing interference?
Any advice at all will help
