Ive been having a pretty serious problem with my 2016 Mustang V6. Two days ago, when driving to school in the morning, my voltage started to peak at 17 volts. When this happened, my dash cluster, A/C, radio, and power steering all cut out for a second. I haven’t added or changed anything electrically that could be causing this. It’s only getting to 17v in the morning when it’s cold out (in the 30’s) during the day when its warmer it will get up to 16 to 16.5(not high enough for my interior stuff to cut out). To add to this, yesterday afternoon when I got in my car, my cold air has completely stopped working. It worked completely fine the day before, and my heat is still working like normal. Ive checked all of the alternator and battery connections and they are all fine. The car is also not throwing any codes. Taken it to O’reilys to have the battery and alternator tested at idle and they are both fine according to the reader. If anyone has any ideas or has experienced this before, please let me know. Thank you all! (Update:This morning It was in the high 40’s and the voltage didnt go above 14.5v. I even turned my heat and music all the way up to try and reproduce power draw from the previous mornings.)

I'll try that route. Do you have any idea what I need to get my cold air blowing again? It's getting hot here again and would really like it Working
I'm sorry, Owen, but I know nothing about the A/C system. There are a lot of threads on this forum regarding A/C issues, and you might find some insight if you search for them. If you replace the battery and the problem persists, my only suggestion would be to check the applicable fuse(s). After that, I'd be looking for a professional diagnosis, but like I said - I'm ignorant. I wish you luck.

You're welcome.
Search for "a/c stopped" or "a/c quit", or if you want to scare yourself, do a search for the word "evaporator".
