With the new 2017 starting on the production line this month, does anyone know the differences between the Aust delivery 2016 and 2017 models ?

Mine due to be built 23/6/16. Ordered 28/11/15. :D

Interesting, mine was ordered August 15, I wonder if mine has been scheduled to build. Might call dealer this week.

It's silly, but I don't want a sync3 model, because I want to put custom wallpapers on my screen. Hate the look of sync 3 so I hope mine is built earlier.

Just looking at the brochure it says they will have the same wheels all round now. No 9.5" with 275's anymore? Is it a typo?

Good question - I've heard in the US there are new wheel/tyre options available, which _could_ flow on to different wheels on the GT. But my money is on 'typo' - the 2015 brochure says 19/9.0" with 255/40s for both EB and GT.

Where as far as I know, they're as per the Ford (US) technical standards:
Performance Package:
front, 1 9 x 9 .0-in. 2 5 5/40R,
rear, 1 9 x 9 .5-in. 2 7 5/40R

i.e. the typo has been there since the beginning in the brochure.

Actually my brochure from earlier this year lists the bigger wheels.
My dealer just replied. He reckons it's a typo but we will get sync3.

Have you actually noticed that the GT on the au website has 306KW (410HP) while on the US site reads 435HP. And if I am not mistaken it was 323KW in the au site a while ago...

The US quote HP and Torque at the flywheel, with no water pump, alternator ( expressed DIN ).
We use a different standard (SAE).

Mine was built 27/06 and is a 2017 I can confirm it has
19X9Fr/19X9.5Rr- Fg Al Prm Pt
Frt-255/40 Rr-275/40R19 Y-Sum
