Delivery July 2016 - is this 2017 model?

I'm a bit pissed but my date has moved from April to July (they cant tell me why) - my question is will that mean I get the 2017 model? If it means I wait another month say Aug it may be worth it to get 2017.
They did say I might still get it in April or May but as I am in Europe for May June back early July the car will just sit.:frusty:

With July, it's most likely a MY16. MY17 would be produced later.

Why? Because for a July delivery, your car would be made in like April ('16) or so.

From memory they change to the next years model in August, so to get a 2017 model you wouldn't get the car until late October/early November 2016.

I don't think that is possible as RHD Mustangs are made in batches.

If you want a 'guaranteed' '17 MY, I'd say place an order now/today. It'll only be manufactured post July 2016 as the current wait time is 14 months+, thereby giving you a MY17.
