It was just loaded onto a rail car yesterday, Stuart. It should ship out soon. It now has an ETA of 9/7/15 to your dealer, which is subject to change.
'Least its on the way. :/
Too bad it still wont be eligible for the 0%/1000 deal. :(
But I might get to enjoy it over labor day. ;)

The 0%/$1,000 deal is only on 2015 MY cars I thought?

Yelp your right, it is only for 2015 because Ford needs to clear all the 2015 still on the lot for dealers to bring in the 2016. I myself changed my 2016 ordered to buying a 2015 just because the deal is so juicy and I was able to find one that I liked

I thought so. When I first read the OP's post, it sounded like he thought it was going to be available for his 2016. For those who want/can find a 2015 of their liking, it is a no-brainer.

Which is why I said "Too bad it still wont be eligible..."
That's why I said "when I first read it" . I should have edited my post after reading it again, my bad. I need to start reading the posts more carefully before I reply.

Put in my order yesterday for a GT Premium Fastback Manual, and after reading this thread I assume I won't get it until end of October?

Got an email from my dealership rep, Retail orders will only start getting scheduled on the second week of September, so it is safe to say we will not get orders before October, Mid October..
i am talking to him to switch my order to "Stock"...

Honestly, switching to stock now probably won't speed it up much if at all. September is close now.

I would just wait. Will be worth it in the long run

Just heard back from him.
They already switched it, the ordering department told him i will get a VIN on next friday, and he will be tracking it...
i know its "useless" to switch at this point, but if i can shave off 1 week i'd still be happy :)

in my case i have so many dealer add-ons that even after the car come in i still need to wait another week...
so i want is now, i am sure you guys can understand :)

My dealership rep had so far exceeded any expectation i ever had for a "dealership rep"...

Cool, most people just lack the patience. I am saving up money while I wait for mine, so it doesn't bother me as much. Would I like to have it before winter, of course. But, not looking forward to spending over $35k lol

Tell me about it:)
Luckily i saved enough for this car to pay it off in one payment (x-plan), sadly with all my add-ons my cost is 40k Out The Door.

Yup, look forward to no car payments, but once you save up a lot of money, it is harder to spend it, at least for me it is.

Seems like me and you are having the same problems :)

LOL....
Yeah, i HATE car payments....
with x-plan i feel comfy enough to just get it done in 1 shot and not have to worry about it...
The only car i pay is for my wife, since its a lease...
i tried telling her "its a trap", but she like the idea of getting a brand new shiny car every 2.5 years.... so sadly gota pay that car lease....
