2016 Mustang Orders Placed Thread (Vote/Share Here)

WeinerDog, It's Guard Metallic with black over-the-top racing stripes. Yeah, it only worked on the site the one day, and then it disappeared. I'm just glad I was able to build it long enough to see it, and then change my order with my dealer. I think it's going to look good! It was only a little extra (like, $475 or something), so it won't break the bank, if you know what I mean. Should have the car delivered around the end of October - can't wait!!

Hey Wally, I mean what is the style of the stripe(s)?

Sorry, I'll check... I'm not sure if they're vinyl or painted on. It's option no. 47a and they're black - I think they're similar to the ones on the GT350.

I should have asked my dealer, but they looked cool so I went with it. I'll update tomorrow if I have something...

Also, the ones I saw didn't seem to have the white pinstripe edge that you'll see in the pictures on the link above - just black.

Been creepin on the 2015 Mustang since it was first released, finally pulled the trigger last week!

Placed an order with my dealer for a Shadow Black '16 GT Premium - Performance Pack w/Recaros, nav, and RSS. The wait may literally kill me now that it's officially ordered!

Got my window sticker today!

I was able to download my window sticker today! Everything looks OK (V8 convertible, MT, right colors inside and out, etc.).

Anyone have any idea how long it takes after getting the sticker?

Hum , in your specific case, i'd say as long as 6-8 MONTHS !!!!

Glad for you man, 4-6 weeks would be more realistic , that's of course if their are no QC hold or god knows what else affecting the delivery.

Dealer still says 2 weeks. I'm beginning to believe that it might actually be true

My blend date is the third of August and Deysha was kind enough to give me an ETA to my dealer of the 23rd so 2-3 weeks seems likely. That is if QC issues don't set us back.

Hi all. I'm new to posting. Ordered my new DIB GT PP Premium with all the options (alumiun wheels) on June 9th with X-plan. This will be my seventh Mustang GT. So excited!! I hope it will be the first 2016 of its kind here in Dallas!

Huh. My blend is 8/4 and ETA 8/21.
Heres hoping they can sail through QA checks and arrive on time.

My dealer got back to me today and said the stripes are an 'add-on', so he doesn't think they are painted on. I agree.

I finally got my dealer to give me the DORA yesterday. Still waiting for a VIN and Scheduling... hopefully soon!
