Mine isn't showing in COTUS yet either but I assume It may not show until late July/early August.

As far as my timeline goes:
ordered - May 11 (gave my dealer a 2016 order guide with what I want circled, my first salesman left the dealership and I had some very poor communication from them so I am not sure when the order was actually placed)

VIN - Jun 18

ETA to Dealer - Aug 23

Perhaps we will see COTUS go live whenever the build and price for 2016s appears on ford.com

On another note, does anyone know how far out from production I have to change interior color? I am getting a GT premium convertible in Magnetic and currently have ceramic interior ordered. I'm still up in the air between ceramic and dark saddle though

ECOBOOST PREMIUM PLACED!

So after a while drooling over a 2015 LE that I can't afford, I started to look for some 2015 v6 black in manual with 051A wheels and couldn't find one. All the dealers were offering me to factory order so I took a look at 2016 and the new Synce 3 is so nice its worth the wait. After countless hours of research and negotiation, I finally placed my order today! 7/9/2015.

- Trim: 2016 Ecoboost premium (I love toys and Synce 3 + 8 inch screen is a sexy toy that's only available for Ecoboost premium in 2016, 2015 Ecoboost premium does not have this)
- Exterior: Shadow Black, Wheels and Stripe package, Spoiler delete, spare wheel/tire
- Interior: Ceramic, all weather floor mats, navigation, smokers package and the must have manual stick shift!
- They gave me priority number 19 but I was able to ask for 10!

MSRP: $32,180
Invoice: $30,210
Price paid: $29,660 + any rebates available at time of delivery:headbang:
Order number: B708 (Ford Service please be kind to update me on how I can check my order regularly ! thanks )

Super Exited to join the Mustang club!!

P.S. anyone who knows how to get good rebates that compound on each other please help me. So far I think I can qualify for college graduate for 500. Very thankful for any help.

Kidding, congrats. :)

I ordered the same, only DIB w/ceramic and I changed to Premium Ebony interior. Wife convinced me the white would be ruined inside of a year. Plus wanted the Premium upgrades. Only thing is I did this before I got ( AND STILL DON"T HAVE---HELLLLLOOO!) my VIN. I think once VIN is assigned, no more changes. I could be wrong!

If that's the case then that makes my decision easy. Guess I'll just stick with ceramic hahaha

FYI - my timeline so far -
Placed an order for 2016 GT Premium on 6/9.
Notified of build date of 8/10 fairly soon afterwards.
Received VIN roughly 2 weeks later.
COTUS websites would keep giving me an error message with that VIN. I havent bothered checking since at least a week on those websites.

Both Deysha with Ford and my dealer rep updated me last week on anticipated arrival of the vehicle to the dealership on 9/1.
You’re very welcome, ry1980!

That was quick FordService.
Still doesn't show in COTUS, but don't much care with a pre-September delivery ETA.
And B342 is the retail/sold order, and that one doesn't have a VIN or build date yet.
COTUS is still in a pilot phase and has not been rolled out for all regions or vehicle nameplates, ilkhan. What you find on the site may not be the most up-to-date information.

Thanks Deysha. The wait's just killing me. I'm too excited for my own good.
I’m sure it is, 113. Lol! You’re very welcome!

You have a stock order, which is one of the reasons it’s not showing in COTUS, wcamp711. Also, it has already scheduled to build, so you are no longer able to any make changes.

Congrats on your order and thanks for the PM, NewLoveForTheStang!! I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Also, brochures sent out with a $750 offer are based on select marketing criteria. Not every brochure will have one. Available incentives for your area (by ZIP) can also be found here. You can verify eligibility with your selling dealer as all offers are subject to change. Your dealer can check any incentive that applies to you at the time of the sale in their system.

Deysha

So does that mean that I will never be able to see my order through COTUS Deysha?

I'm starting to get all of my research together to work out a deal for the price once my mustang gets here. My only real question has to do with dealer holdbacks. Does Ford calculate the holdback as 3% of the base MSRP or 3% of the total MSRP with options? or is my data completely off.

It's 3% of the MSRP including all options.

So far, that’s correct, wcamp711.

My friend was able to track it in COTUS using dealers code and order number but leaving the last name blank. His was a stock order.

Thanks for the info. I tried that but it didn't work, I'll give it another shot when I get closer to the production date.

Just realized the Cali-Spec is not on the survey and I haven't seen anyone mention ordering one. Or did I miss something?
