2016 Mustang Orders Placed Thread (Vote/Share Here)

Got a call from my salesman this afternoon. My Mustang was due into Portland today (i.e. railcar arrived into Portland Auto Warehousing terminal), but he said my car was delivered to the dealer today Originally, was told it usually takes a day or two before your car gets unloaded there...

Salesman said that they can get the dealer prep done before the showroom closes tomorrow.

The only thing that sucks is that I'm on spring break vacation with my family on the coast, in an area with spotty cell phone reception :doh:

Going home tomorrow, I'll see if we can slip into the dealership before the showroom closes so I can sign the papers

Mustang built 3/21, released for shipment, shipped, delivered to dealer 3/22. The car is moving faster than I can! I won't be able to pick it up until next week due to the long weekend.

Checked with dealer yesterday since railcar arrived in SoCal last Friday & was unloaded on Sat AM. Car is scheduled for today's truck load to dealer! Could be mine today or tomorrow depending upon time of arrival!!

i finally received a vin last week and ford csr told me over the phone it was scheduled to go into production then contacted my dealer to see what they said, told me the same thing and even went to say my car has a eta the week of 04/11. i remember the csr telling me something about 4/11 but it was build week though i think. fast forward to today, ford csr told me my car was still in order processing, with no eta...no expected build date...no dates at all...im about to take my deposit back and wait for a 17 at this point...lol.

Ordered my glorious-looking 2016 Ecoboost Premium Oxford White + Ceramic Leather on Feb 8th. Got the VIN number some 1-1.5 weeks later. Car's been put together on the 29th of Feb, I believe.

- automatic
- 19 inch low gloss wheels
- upgraded Shaker system
- adaptive cruise control
- park assist
- enhanced anti-theft

and pretty much anything I could get my eyes on, except navigation for some reason, because if I can't have Google maps on that screen, I don't see the point, but maybe I'm wrong?

I suppose I should start getting ready for delivery, judging by the dates. I'll probably bother Deysha for some details.

Took delivery last night!

Would have posted pictures last night, but the ones I took at the dealership came out awful (poor lighting conditions, it was night by the time we closed the deal and I thought about taking pictures!).
