Hi fuhrius - was your GT350R a 2015 or 2016 ? When did you place u order DORA and when was a VIN generated for your built.

I ordered my GT350R on 9/12, DORA received about a week later. No VIN yet

GT350R - 920A Package with the 67S Electronics Package Black with Black Stripes

I had a tough time deciding on Shadow Black vs AG vs Magnetic

You sound like me. I've been back and forth for colors but I'm at AG now.

Ordered R 8/20 - still no VIN.

I was at Dealer today, on the list it says ( bucked) which means it is on the line today.
So car is now built, I await the dreaded shipping process :(

My car finally scheduled, also 1/11. Ironically enough last 4 of the VIN almost identical to my 2012

Hey guys - when you report your car as scheduled or built - can you specify if it's an R or non-R? I know ohtobbad is an R, which is cool. I'd be excited to hear about people who didn't previously have an R VIN, getting one.

Called Ford performance this morning for an update.
The confirmed my car is in production, R model.
Shows date of dec 12 to 18 for arrival at dealer.
This would shock me if it showed up that soon
because of where I live, he told me to call back next week
to see if up date on shipping. They are closed Thursday and Friday
for thanksgiving, back on Monday.

I got a spot of good news today - my 'R' was released from hold yesterday and is now awaiting shipping like my non-'R'. So both cars may get here by Xmas...

You don’t want to know
Good news here too: My GT 350 was released for shipping from Flat Rock 4 days after it was built, and it hit the rails soon after. That means total time from build completion to arrival at the dealer could be 12-14 days. I hope this is the new normal for the delivery system!

Trevor, congratulations on your car being assembled as we speak. What is the last 3 of your VIN? Mine VIN is #319.

My R model was scheduled to be assembled tomorrow and of course the last day before the factory 4 day shut down for Thanksgiving.

Surprise!!!!

My car was just pushed out almost 2 months into January 2016 so I suggest that your R model may be one of the very last R models that are being assembled until next the 2016 calendar year but I could be wrong.

With the scheduled assembly date for tomorrow November 25th it may now be a case of Ford shutting down production of the R models based on the issue with the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires?

Just a guess but based on my scenario I am thinking that direction.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Well I hope thats not the case for those who wait.
As we all know some levels of frustration over lack of info.
Isaac at Ford performance did say today, ford does not want any cars going out with issues, not sure if this is a factor.
my last 3 of VIN is 307

Well lucky you. I'm happy that you have your car coming. So you have nothing to complain about.

Mine is still not released, over 1 month since it was built, built 10/22, so i am still complaining! LOL.......this wait sucks, i just wish they would say for sure why its not released or when it will be, i would be fine if they just told me how much longer.

Awesome. Perhaps drop a subtle hint at where it's going and what parking lot it could be seen in - maybe they'll get it shipped ASAP. ;) Just a mention of it's stable mates should really be all that is needed!

I just talked to FP about my R. It's still not scheduled. He did say that he knows of another R that is scheduled for January. It stands to reason that some of the other guys who answer the phone over at FP also have talked to a few people about builds - so January might still be a go for some cars.

On a side - I thanked him for being patient because I'm sure everyone and their brother is calling them. He was very gracious and said, "Thank YOU guys for being patient in waiting for the cars" and that he'd continue to give us any information available to him. Nice of him to say, I thought.
