Does anyone know how well the lt1 responds to just a tune and running on e85?
The vettes you have to buy new injectors, etc. Here is the listing. Lot more expensive stock vs stock it appears.

Product Description

e85 High Performance Fuel Conversion Kit
We do more e85 and flex fuel conversions than any other speed shop in Houston. Sample YouTube videos of our e85 and flex fuel conversions. GM vehicles will automatically detect and calibrate to run gasoline, e85 or any blend of these two fuels. Dodge, Ford, Nissan, Scion, Subaru and other vehicles must run e85 100% of the time after conversion.
Why run e85 in your vehicle? Ethanol (or e85) is a remarkable fuel source!:
– 105 octane rating – in most cases better than 110 octane race gas
– Engine will run cooler with a 27 percent reduction in heat compared to premium gas
– Extreme tolerance to detonation, some naturally aspirated engines are able to run up to +15:1 compression ratio.
– ETs are less affected by atmospheric changes
– Does not leave carbon deposits like gas, so maintenance is reduced across the board
– Not corrosive like methanol
– 35% more energy than methanol
– Performance is comparable to best race gas at a fraction of the cost
– e85 is offered at a growing number of gas stations: See e85locator.net to find the filling stations near you.
– e85 is a renewable fuel source that is also environmentally friendly

Product features:
– New fuel injectors to handle the increased fuel flow requirements of e85 (~30% more fuel flow)
– Flex fuel sensor (GM vehicles only)
– e85 compatible hi-flow fuel pump
– e85 engine calibration
– All necessary wiring and fittings
Installation time: 2 days (installation time included in package price). 1 day is needed for the hardware install, 1 day for the e85 dyno tune and road test.

This is direct injections downfall. The Camaros aren't set up to read alcohol content. Your buying injectors, censors, pumps just to run E85. Somebody might come up with a tune to make it happen with out rebuilding the entire fuel system. But then it wont be making any where near 450whp. On the other hand. The Coyote is a modders dream.

Go Forced Induction and its over. Coyote in the s197 going FI is beastmode, the Coyote in the S550 going FI is beastmode 2.0!!! :paddle:

The only thing needed to run e85 in an LT1 is upgrading the sensor so it can read the ethanol content. There is absolutely no need for injectors or fuel pump.

Sensor and harness runs about 500 and the 250 for the tune.

I don't have much experience but from what I research e85 is giving vettes 30 whp and 40tq. Of course dynos vary so 450/470 can be an anomaly or the norm. I see camaros Dyno 410-420 so I suppose 450hp and 460+ tq isn't unreasonable
Yeah that seems to be a very generous dyno. Its own existing is to make customer's happy for the first time, and so that they can keep coming in for their future modes. Nothing wrong with that as long as you compare it to your stock on the same dyno and similar conditions. I bet a stock manual gt would have put down above 400 whp on the same dyno and same day as well.
