Okay I have a 2016 EcoBoost Mustang premium non performance pack and recently I have developed a shaking problem. It began after I floored it and heard a pop well I began to diagnose ran into a bad bearing and a little too much play in my CV shafts than I'd like so I went ahead and replaced both shafts and one of the bearings driver side. This did not fix the shaking I began to look at my drive shaft and noticed a clean spot on there so I'd assumed that a weight had been knocked off because right where the weight was missing was a dent in the metal tunnel around the drive shaft so I took a hose clamp and some washers slapped it on there and it made it a ton better but not completely gone drove it around for about a week trying to save up to get a new drive shaft and all of a sudden it starts shaking again well I get under there thinking that the washers might have come off or something and nope they're in the same spot as they were before so I'm like what the hell I took it off hose clamp and washers back to the normal drive shaft with a clean spot on it and I'll be damned if the shaking didn't Disappear Completely craziest shit I've ever seen well today lo and behold the shaking his back and I can't for the life of me comprehend what could possibly be wrong I don't have any of the lockout kits for the rear end yet and the car does have some miles I believe 150 so I know that there is a substantial amount of play in the rear end especially in the differential and the only things I can possibly think of that could be causing this would be the differential shifting potentially or maybe even a bad motor mount causing the drive angle to be off I'm really at a loss though I'm hoping someone on here can help me out cuz it's baffling me

It took me awhile to understand your post, punctuation helps.

Can you tell if the shaking feels like it is coming from the middle or front of the vehicle instead of the rear? I had a rotational feeling shaking that I could not place and kept the dealership stumped for over a month after several trips to get it diagnosed. Finally a consult with a Ford national tech found the problem.

EcoBoosts have a dual mass flywheel. A spring, or springs, in mine broke or disconnected and the two parts of the flywheel were then out of balance and slamming during rotation instead of being spring loaded to spec.

Your DMF (dual mass flywheel) may have grenaded on you like mine did.

Okay I'll look into that. Sorry man I was using talk to text and it never punctuates anything unless you tell it. I appreciate the answer, if anybody else has any other ideas send them and if I find out it's the flywheel I will answer back here. thank God for forums huh!

Old school way to check motor mounts if put it gear and hold the brakes and push the throttle a little and see if the motor twist or makes any noise.

Curious what you find,

Turned out to be the u joint for the noise and bad bushings.....badically the whole rear has worn out enough that it would shift after hard throttle or braking and if it shifted to the right angle it caused the driveline angle to be so out of wack that a vibration from the missing drive shaft weight was more prominent. Alot more. And the weight was knocked off also because the shifting rear end allowed rear end of the driveshaft to collide with the underside of the car knocking it off...
What a day. Moral of the story.....replace those bushings......and they are a mfer to get out AND back in
