2017 ecoboost upgrade brakes

Hi,
New here. I've gotten a little confused on 2018-2019 GT rear brakes not fitting on a 2015-2017 ecoboost. I've read where they will all interchange. Then I see 2015-2017 for rear only. So will a set of 2018-2019 rear GT brakes work on a 2017 Ecoboost? I'm going to do the upgrade to GT brakes on my 2017 conv. and need to know for sure before I buy a set of used ones. Thanks
