You certainly can make black wheels silver. Just sandblast and powdercoat them.

But you won't get the level of polish with the original luster nickel.
Easier to go black/gray from silver. And you can go back and forth on a whim!

The $200 up charge for the new high luster nickel wheels is their cheapest wheel upgrade.

I have DIB with saddle, and I like the combo. BUT.... after looking at a car with the premier trim package I think that is the way to go, which limits you to ebony or redline. There's at least one DIB/redline somewhere buried in the DIB photos thread.

hopefully someday I'll be able to snatch up some door panels and complete the interior.
