What's up guys?
I bought my 2016 5.0 almost a year ago now and put some pretty significant miles on it she's at almost 42,000.
A couple weeks ago I noticed my first issue ever with the car, after some pretty hard driving I was sitting at idle and it would surge from around 850, to below 500 and back up a few times. The car felt like it wanted to stall out, but hasn't yet. No CEL has surfaced either.
I've only experienced this 4 or 5 times in the last couple of weeks and it's almost impossible to replicate.
I read up on a couple people that have experienced similar problems and it seems most likely a tune up is needed.
So far, I've ran through some Chevron complete fuel system cleaner, cleaned the MAF sensor and put a new K&N air filter in the box, but this issue just popped up again yesterday.
My next step is to replace the spark plugs-aside from that, anyone else have any insight?
