In the Ford GT or the 5.0 ? just to let you know a stock 5.0 made 800hp with a hellion twin turbo kit now if it were fully built that car could make well over 1000HP

After reading about the problums on 2.3 Ecoboost thread and Fords recall for the over heating problum its having I'm glad I got the V6. I see Ford taking the 3.5 V6 600 hp replacing the 5.0 in the future. The 2017 Ford rapter pickup will have the 3.5 V6 600 hp.

Why does every single V6 thread turn into this crap? Who cares about 900HP builds? How many people are looking for 900HP out of their 5.0, 3.7 or 2.3????? People had their reasons for buying what they bought.

This is dumb because there might be a total of maybe 10ppl on this forum who will actually supercharge their V6 and that is the only way it will even keep up with a tuned EB. The performance per dollar argument is so weak for the V6 I don't know why ppl bother to debate it. It's still a great engine for a daily driver and will sound better to most but there's a reason there are like 5 timeslips for V6s total on here and there's a reason why the V6 mod subforum is pretty much dead most days

I like how people are so quick to dismiss the V6... it's funny. I was door to door with a modded eco in my 14 v6. He had intake/exhaust/intercooler. I had a tune and muffler deletes. Door to door. And I always laugh when people bring up that 900hp build, considering it took a built motor yadda yadda yadda, when a v6 made 700 with a 5500 dollar turbo kit and NOTHING else. I promise you that 900hp ecoboost was a lot more than 5500 bucks.

A rep from Procharger told me that there is a 2011 V6 in the nines. He also said that the 2011-2014 V6 Procharger is one of their top 10 selling kits. Their hope is their sales success with 2011-2014 V6 Procharger kit will carry over to the 2015+ V6 but I have my doubts. There is such a small price difference between the 2015+ V6 and Ecoboost that most guys that are interested in going boosted would just get a Ecoboost from the start.
Anyway I dropped my V6 off to get it's Procharger and it should be ready by February 5th.
