Hi all,
15,000 miles on a V6 Automatic with 051 package.
Driven daily, no previous issues.

Driving home tonite 70 mph as usual.
Half tank of Shell gas as usual.
Check Engine Light glows, no loss of power or noises.
My obd scanner shows P1450.

P1450 Ford Description
"The Powertrain Control module (PCM) Monitors the fuel vapor vacuum and pressure in the fuel tank. System failure occurs when the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) running loss monitor detects excessive fuel tank vacuum with the engine running, but not at idle."

I will reach the dealer Monday and post my findings.
I searched this website but yielded no returns on P1450.

Cheers, mikey

Fuel Pressure Sensor Recall

Found this recall on build dates 9/25/15 to 10/9/15.
My build date is 9/12/14 per ETIS.

Seem possible that 2 weeks earlier than recall startdate saw a similar defect begin?

Or perhaps my tank pressure discharge tube melted shut up against the exhaust as on the svt performance thread..

Makes/Models/Model Years: FORD/MUSTANG/2015 Mfr's Report Date: December 3, 2014
NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V-774
Components: FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE
Potential Number of Units Affected: 712

Problem Description:
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2015 Ford Mustang vehicles manufactured September 25, 2014, to October 9, 2014.

The fuel pressure sensor may not have been seated properly to the fuel jumper line, which may cause a fuel leak. Consequence: A partially seated fuel pressure sensor could cause a fuel odor or a fuel leak, increasing the risk of a vehicle fire in the presence of an ignition source. Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel jumper line, free of charge.
The recall is expected to begin in December 2014. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 14S27.

Took today off to wait for Ford Dealer to diagnise and fix my P1450 cide..
Also alerted them that my remote start no longer works.

Within 20 minutes the Service Advisor tells me they need the engine ice cold to diagnose the P1450 ( fuel tank bleed-up valve issue) and could I leave the car overnight...

I asked why I wasn't advised of this last week when I first set the appointment and gave the code to the Service Desk?

When I asked about fixing the remote start, they told me it can't be diagnosed with a CEL..
Really?

I elected to call a different dealer for sevice.. Just unreal.
