Well I've gotten multiple answers of "No" from multiple people. I might try to negotiate more with the dealer, but hey, whatever. Their loss, this will be my last Ford. I'm 27 so I have a few purchases left in me. A shame really because I really liked this car up until now.

Have you checked the booster hose that goes to your manifold? Maybe it came loose.

Unfortunately I did not, I had it towed because I was just freaked out at the time. I told them to go ahead and fix it, and in the meantime I was going to try to get Ford to help me. In hindsight a huge mistake. Lesson learned.

I don't want to be one of those complainers but I am just very disappointed that such a simple thing can fail like that after a year and a half. Obviously, no one will feel 100% safe in my car and I wouldn't blame them. I get that things break, it's part of being into cars, but at least stand behind it man. Especially a cheap part that hardly ever fails. A part that is critical to safety.

I really like this car otherwise, and thought it was a great blend of commuter car and sports car, but I could not logically buy a car from these guys again after what happened.

I'm done venting and appreciate you guys replying to my thread with advice and support. I wish you all much better luck than me.
