if you want more power then stock turbos can handle you will need to build the motor on the gtr. The s550s are handling 650+ without building the motor. Gtr's also cost a lot to mod. incase you didn't know, the GTR transmission.......it only has one part number if you blow it up. :lol:I have the x-pipe and the driveshaft which took off close to 45lbs of weight from the car. I think the biggest thing with the driveshaft to improve efficiency is the fact that it is a one piece so it directly transfers more power. It is also a lot lighter and being that it is rotational mass every pound taken off means that much more, allowing the motor to spool it that much easier.
Only reason I have considered a GT-R is because it seems to be much faster stock than what a modded mustang would be to a point. What are you looking at in terms of maintenance dollar wise?
