Sounds "superb"...is subjective....of course. I had them....didn't enjoy the higher pitch, the "rapping burble..pop, pop...at higher pitches. If you want LOUD...then OK...if you want sounding like a V8 should sound...deep nasty growl....that's certainly not the Roush's. Only takes good ears and comparing them all ..to know that. IMHO.....and experience.

Have always liked Roush cars....have always been disappointed in their choice of exhaust systems...they sound crappy for a strong performing V8 engine. Just doesn't match.....all one has to do is LISTEN.....then listen to the same car with....oh....let's say...Magnaflows. You will THEN hear and realize what a true strong V8 should sound like.

Do you think Chip Foose knows his cars....how to design...sure...but, he knows the entire car...and what makes it a "cool vehicle with a nasty V8....and what is the ONLY exhaust system he uses in all his award winning cars.......what was that....did I hear you....yes....MAGNALOWS!! And...listen...just listen to his cars/trucks...et all...when done. The Magnaflow folks custom make the mandrel bent pipes and design the system for the car......always sounds awesome. The key, of course, is the muffler.

I guarantee you....no Roush....or anyone's else's....rap...rap...rap...high pitch pop...pop...pop....heard coming from his cars. NEVER!!!!

And...there is a reason...................

I will say the same thing about magnaflows then listening to Borlas.

I certainly don't think the exhaust sounds superb. It's way too high pitched/raspy for a V8 personally.

SW makes a GOOD sounding deep V8 sound, as does ARH catback and MRT. It depends what sounds you want, but I dont find Roush's to be superb even if you want raspy.

Must admit, for me the best sounding exhaust I've heard for the S550 GT is the Stainless Works...........for the 5.0 S197 it was the Borla S-Type. My '05 S197 used to have Flowmasters, but those were swapped for Pypes Bombs after hearing a friend's S197.

I went to a dealership to check the roush rs2, all the add ons are just cosmetic its just a kit added to a gt performance package..and it doesnt look that good for a 53 grand car.lol..

Haven't seen them more than 48 unless one you saw has more options from Ford.

Yeah they put the kit on to a gt premium with performance package which is worth 40 plus without the roush kit.
