Really the only disappointment is the glare on the cluster gauges
with the mid-day sun. And that bit me in the butt yesterday with a hefty speeding
ticket from the DPS on the Dallas Tollway. Wasn't even in a hurry.
You can get some speed without realizing it. Groan...

Biggest surprise: Handling and braking. I owned two Boss 302's from the prior generation and the capabilities of the new chassis is exceptional. The brakes have significant stopping power with no fade. Ford engineers definitely got the suspension dynamics right on the Mustang.

Biggest disappointment: That Ford doesn't offer leather seats in the V6 model, the design of the rear window that allows it to become almost opaque with haze in just a few days and the paddle shifters which always seem to be in the wrong position to use effectively when driving challenging roads aggressively.

The reflective glare come from the clear plastic lens covering the speedometer.

I agree 100%. I love my car but this is the worse ever. I have a '14 Juke and it has a separate shield over the gauges that totally stops the glare.
I have to hold my hand over the gauges to block the glare to see the gauges on my Mustang.

Nav system beeping

The darn nav. system is constantly beeping. Even if I am staying on one highway it seems to beep at a large number of the off-ramps I am not taking.

This greatly interferes with bluetooth, especially siri.

The only option appears to be muting the nav. altogether.

i noticed it yesterday at about 2:30 PM. it seems like the sunlight reflects from the bottom of the instrument cluster into the clear plastic housing

Speaking of glare, I'm getting a ton of glare reflecting into my eyes off the steering wheel aluminum bits. This happens around mid-day usually and it's annoying. Thinking I might get the metal steering wheel trim covered in vinyl.

The only glare that has bothered me is the sun reflecting off the hood ridges.
