Before we lost the source code, I found out that the date that appears in the first box is actually called the "Invoice Date"... and the last completed update in the code would say "Sent to Plant".
So what that means, I really have no idea... but the process of your car going into production has started.
I have no idea how long it takes to assemble the car, but there are of course many assemblies pre-assembled (engine, obviously... front suspension? rear suspension?)
The date that appears in the 2nd box was listed in the source code as "Produced Date", so this is the date I would consider the car being "built", or it's "birthday", or it's "born on date" if you'd like.

It took a few days for it to show. I ordered on 10/18 with dealer, made a change on the 20th, it has a ordered date of 10/23, but didn't show in Cotus until 10/25

Six weeks for delivery?
Looks like my new car was finally built! However, it says the delivery date is 12/18/14. Since it is now 11/3, and the car is built already, why do I have to wait another six weeks to get it? The page says, "'Awaiting Shipment', means your vehicle has been built and we are arranging shipment to your dealer. This step could take a few days to a week". However, it also says I have to wait until Christmas to get the car. How can I get it sooner?

Will they let me fly in and take delivery at the factory, then drive it back home? Do I have to pay for it through my dealer then perhaps I can pick it up at the factory?

My triple yellow base V6 was ordered on June 28th, was built on November 3rd, (just moved from "In Production to "Awaiting Shipment today) and is awaiting shipment! COTUS says that it will be delivered on November 23rd to Northeastern Ohio!

Stuck in Awaiting Shipment for 2 weeks now

Not to burst anybody's bubble, but after getting through the Production column in just 4 days, my car's been stalled in Awaiting Shipment for 2 weeks now. And to add insult to injury, the countdown clock says I've only got "2 Days Left" until I can pick it up at my dealer!
