2015 Mustang Production / Ordering Schedule

The shifter is so awesome, nothing like that crappy long throw shifter I had in my 2012 Shelby. I was convinced that instead of waiting for mine which has a build date of 11/2 I was going to get an Oxford white automatic 50th anniversary model, but after playing with that shifter I will endure the wait now. I bout peed my pants...well actually I did dribble a bit, but we're all friends here aren't we?

I must admit I was preparing myself to be disappointed with the view while sitting behind the wheel. The word that visibility was hampered by them lowering the roof a little, all I could think about was the first time I sat in one of the newer Camaros and how hard it was to see out the sides and back window, well let me be honest.......no problem at all...whatever you've read about this issue.....it's a non-issue

10/16?? For some reason I thought the retail order Fastback scheduling resumed 10/9. Yikes, 10/16.... I really hope to have it in December. Somebody said the Flat Rock plant only makes 30 something Mustangs a day? If that's true, it will take forever!

Per Ford's Dealer Bulletin:

Mustang & F150 Delivery Timing Estimates
The new Mustang is in production. We expect retail order scheduling of the coupe to begin in late September with dealer arrivals in November. The convertible model will follow about 30 days later.

Hmmm. I wonder what happened to that plan, since no Fastbacks are being scheduled on 10/2 or 10/9. :thumbdown:

they did continue to schedule late September, i was one of them lol

I give up waiting . It's gonna be at least 6 months from the time I ordered my car to maybe getting it delivered . I'll stick with Ford but it won't be the Stang . Good luck everyone waiting for your Cars . Enjoy !
P. S. It was the stopping of production of Fastbacks for Convertables that made me give up ..
